Jack Tree House is a contemporary residence in Bangalore shaped as much by landscape as by architecture. Set on a rare, tree-rich urban site, the home was designed around an existing jackfruit tree that becomes the spatial and emotional centre of the project. Instead of clearing the land and building first, the design began with what was already there, allowing the house, garden, and old trees to coexist in a more thoughtful way.
The planning is organised to stay in constant dialogue with the outdoors. Large openings, shaded verandahs, and carefully framed views draw the garden deep into the house, while the central court anchors daily life around light, breeze, and foliage. The result is a residence that feels open yet sheltered, rooted yet contemporary. It is less about spectacle and more about proportion, climate, material warmth, and a quieter relationship between built form and nature.

At its core, the project is about building with care: responding closely to site, client, and context rather than imposing a generic idea of luxury. Jack Tree House reflects OCD’s approach to bespoke residential design in Bangalore—contextual architecture, garden-led planning, and modern tropical living shaped by restraint, intent, and a genuine respect for what deserves to remain.
