Pixel 27

Pixel 27 is a micro-housing project in Bangalore, India, exploring how compact urban homes and small apartments can still feel generous, contextual, and liveable. Designed as 24 residential units across studios and one-bedroom apartments, the project draws from Bangalore’s architectural character through locally made brick, native granite, and familiar balcony grilles. Beam-free construction allows flexibility within small footprints, while full-height windows and step-out balconies bring in light, air, and openness. Rather than treating compact housing as compromise, Pixel 2.0 rethinks urban housing and residential architecture as efficient, climate-responsive, and rooted in place.
